I was just at a private liquor store and noted that a 4 pack of 440ml Guinness cans is $14.84 + sales tax and deposit so approx $4.30 CDN per can.

Have given up on the Guinness as it's full of sugar and I seem to put on weight every time I drink it.

On the gin & diet tonic this afternoon.

Well I'm in Belfast next week so it'd be rude not to have at least one Guinness while I'm there

Absolutely.

Just got some Kronenbourg 1664 from B&M. 3 large 660ml bottles for £5

^ Very strange shape to that glass, but very clever - makes it look like more than half a pint!

I've had five days off from the booze, intended it to be seven, but the ole willpower wasn't up to it....

Anyway, now just finishing a bottle of Chardonnay from Asda's 'Nice Drop' range. This is really excellent stuff for £4.25, can't think of a better budget price Chardonnay.

Latest news by the way is that the private equity sharks from TDR Capital are tightening their grip on Asda, now that one of the Issa brothers has sold out his share of the business to them. Not good news for customers at all.

No, I do most of my shopping online with Asda so I'm hoping prices don't start going up. Hopefully the competition in the market from the likes of Aldi and Lidl etc. will keep them honest.

On the Gordons gin and diet tonic this afternoon. Got an Asda delivery coming this evening.
