What cable station carries Grey's, or how are you getting it? I searched for it on my cable service and couldn't find it. I want to check out the Dixon character. I've never watched Grey's, or maybe I tried one episode years ago and didn't care for it. I normally DO watch medical shows. But Grey's never took with me. But NOW ... I want to check out the autistic character! I love "The Good Doctor." I could surely go for a guy like Shaun Murphy.

Maud Pie and Mud Briar from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Twilight and Fluttershy both have a couple of autistic-like traits as well.

Are there any fictional characters (canonically autistic or not) who have autistic traits that you find especially relatable?

This is a slightly obscure one, but Toft from the Moomin chapter books reminds me of myself when I was growing up. He doesn't relate to the other characters, he obsesses over books, and he feels so fundamentally different from others that he starts to worry that he must be somehow dangerous to them.

Prince Myshkin from Dostoyevsky's "The Idiot". He often finds people's behavior confusing and comical.

We recorded them on the TV box thing when they aired. I thought they were on Netflix too but I’m not sure. Dr Dixon is only on a couple of episodes. She’s not a regular unfortunately.

I kind of relate to Astrid from Astrid et Raphaëlle.

My symptoms are similar to hers but much milder.

Her job would be wonderful! Working alone in that huge records repository.

I always related hard with Lilo from Lilo and stitch... and stitch,
-defiant personality
-outcast
-interests that differ from her peers
-being a pain in the ass for her older sibling :P
-her obsessive interests
-how she treats her childhood teddy like a living being and has empathy for it.
-How her best friend isn't human :P
-The constant weird looks she gets from her peers and elder sister Nani :P
-How she face plants the floor or hides in small spaces when she's stressed or overwhelmed.
-Not understanding social cues

And stitch because he's an alien, he's automatically weird and outcast :?

Another I related to a lot as a kid was Mumble from happy feet, I was Obsessed with this penguin.
-outcast among the other penguins
-he danced instead of sung like the others
-he was a late bloomer, he didn't grow out of his baby feathers until much later than everyone else
-out of the box thinking, he managed to communicate in his own way with the humans using his dancing and essentially saved his colony from starvation (I believe that was the plot, I seem to remember the issue was a lack of fish due to overfishing) it's been years so don't hold me to that :jester:
-His first friends were penguins of an entirely different species, and they got along because they loved his dance moves, but they were also somewhat outcasts in their colony.

I've been seeing post after post on Twitter (or X) about how Rocket Racoon is autistic and every fan of his seems to be autistic or suspects themselves to be. I like him because I find him relatable so I guess him.

Someone related me to Sheldon from "big bang theory." I don't see it but take it as a compliment. I'm into comics and I can relate to dax: I'm fairly strong, clumsy, misunderstood, and misunderstand. A lot of times people assume I can't do stuff.
