What is the one series of movies or shows that you love the most? Mine is Star Wars, particularly the ships, vehicles and weapons. I have put the series that I really like, but if your favourite isn’t there, tell me what it is?

Star Wars, but everything about it that came out in 2008 and after is non-canon to me.

I heartily agree with you. The last 3 movies were either a rehash of previous films, or a confusing mess of weird plot lines and pointless characters. I like The Mandalorian, but it still had that Disney vibe to it unfortunately. Book of Boba Fett was a waste of time. I’m a big fan of the Fett, but that took away from him supposedly being the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy.

Nice choice! I’ve only seen a few of the anime series, and of course the live action movie which i quite enjoyed.

I really like the Legend remake movies, all except for the choice of music.

The main series is definitely worth watching, although the pacing of the end is a bit slow.

The live action movie is pretty good too (although that's an unpopular opinion among some of the fanbase). It misses out on a lot of the story, and Nakazato's driving is wrong (he brags about his grip driving but they show him drifting most of the time).

Not including little things like that it's still a fun movie to watch.

I don't like how they make Bunta into an abusive drunk, instead of a strict but loving father who has been to a bar.

I like several series on the list a lot. I picked Firefly [2002–2003] because it is possibly my favorite and is certainly my favorite of those listed.

But I have been watching TV since the 1950s (NO! not continuously...sometimes I sleep or eat). It is hard to pick just one favorite. There are a number of shows that I would gladly stop what I was doing to watch and that I would gladly join you in watching every episode of.

More of my very favorite shows to watch, in alphabetical order:
Archer [2009–2023]
The Avengers [1961–1969]
Babylon 5, et al. [1993–?]
Doctor Who, et al. [1963–?]
Farscape [1999–2003]
Last of the Summer Wine [1973–2010]
Lexx [1996–2002]
Max Headroom [1987–1988]
Red Dwarf [1988–?]
The Red Green Show [1991–2006]

Why can't I pick more than one.

I like Dexter, Supernatural and GOT.

You have excellent taste Double Retired. I’m definitely a browncoat. I only just watched the series again last week. Love the humour in Archer! I’ve watched most of the things on your list except possibly all of the original Avengers series.

Hi Babybird! Again, excellent choices. I really should have made it more than one choice. I love Dexter, he is one of us for sure. I just watched the new season, which was good. I’m in the middle of rewatching Supernatural, and i recently watched the prequel series, although I didn’t like it as much because it didn’t have the same feel to it as the original series.

Well I didn't know there was a prequel. I must get onto that.

Transformers. The live action movies are critically bad but casually fun. The first is alright, the next four are hot garbage popcorn movies, and the most recent two are pretty good. I especially enjoyed this year's Transformers: Rise of The Beasts, but it seems to have had so many cuts despite its 2-hour runtime that it's a wonder the movie is coherent.

I haven't watched too many of the Transformers shows except half of G1 and Prime, most of Rescue Bots, a little of Cyberverse, and the War for Cybertron Netflix Trilogy

I just think robots turning into vehicles is one of the coolest things ever.

Since the advent of 'binging a series', it's difficult to pick a favourite as you don't have to tune in , the same time next week.

Star Trek TNG , Red Dwarf, Monkey, Kung Fu,The Master, The Fall Guy, The Bionic Man & Woman and The Water Margin were my favourites when I was younger.

House of the Dragon. It follows the Targaryen family when they were the rulers.

Oh I've seen that and read the book. I thought you meant Supernatural.

Nice selection Recidivist. I loved watching Monkey and Kung Fu as a kid. I also wanted bionic limbs, haha. I must admit I have never heard of The Water Margin, I’ll have to look that up. Interesting side note; whenever I watch anything martial arts related, I can’t stop my arms and legs from moving and tensing. Any other category of movie or show doesn’t affect me.
