Hi!
I'm Sean. And I'm newish to wrongplanet. I say newish because I'm not great at social media and I've tried to use this platform a few years back but didn't really stick with it as i wasnt great on figuring out how to voice myself.

But now I would like to be better and more socially active. I'd like to have a place to express myself, hear others speak, talk with others about hobbies, and hopefully, make new friends.

My hobbies include: baking bread, canning, vintage computers, sewing, embroidery, restoring antiques (fans, vacuums, sewing machines, cast iron cookware, furnature), writing (mostly poetry right now) and more. I have a wide range of musical tastes spanning from classical music, sixties simon and garfunkle and bob dylan through 90s alice in chains, shawn culvin. I love me some eighties rock and new wave music too.

I have a cat, her name is Nivi.

I have a associates in English and a bacholors in theater. I started learning the Russian language for a couple years before the pandemic and I learned a good bit. I love Russian history and it's corresponding eighties and nineties music.

I work in a paint store. I sell paint and paint related accessories (sundries). This is kind of when I start loosing steam on what else to say lol.

In any case, I'm looking forward to getting to know everybody here.

One of your hobbies is baking bread. That is one of mine also. I buy a grain called Spelt. It is an early grain that existed before wheat. It is a very hardy grain. I would order it by mail and they would deliver the grain to my home in a 50 pound sealed sack. Then I would take the grain and grind it into powder and make bread. It was really wonderful to make your own bread from scratch. Very, very tasty.

Hi Jimmy M. I'm going to have to look into that. What did you grind the spelt with? Did you have your own mill to do it? Or is there something else you used?
