Do you like or hate dressing up? Why?

It depends what you mean by dressing up.
Do you mean wearing formal clothing or dressing up in a costume?

I consider myself 'dressed up' whenever I dress for work or go to town or to the pub because it's more formal clothing than I would normally wear.
I have a lot of vintage clothing which I love to wear.
I also have a bit of 'dress up' costumery just for the fun of it.
Clothing is definitely one of my special interests, so yeah, I enjoy it.

No.

I prefer pyjamas, they are more comfortable than formal clothing.

I am not really interested in costumes.

It is something I now enjoy now that I have a lot of clothes!

Please elaborate.

There is a difference between dressing to run errands, dressing for work, and dressing for a formal event.

I love your clothes.
You have such a good sense of style.

I like to dress up when the occasion calls for it.
The only thing I hate and despise is bras.

I love to dress up. Often just for the sake of it. I am big fan of goblincore and dark academia. Maybe I just really love Earthy tones.

Wearing a costume, for example for Halloween, is fun, but I'd hate to wear a suit every day. (I own one suit, but its just for auditions.) Casual and comfortable is my very strong preference.

i usually just wear fuzzy-wuzzy from head to toesies, unless i have to be in public somewhere, which is not too often thank god. then i usually wear a "uniform" of black tank top/windbreaker/black trousers/comfy shoes in winter, and gray tank top/khaki pants in summer. lately i've been dressing somewhat more formally in black button-down shirt with obscure military rank insignia as collar pin on one collar, and black trousers and dark shoes. these collar pins are in the pics below, top image canadian forces chief warrant officer, aka "the dancing horses", and bottom image vietnam-era army specialist 7th class -

For me, I love dressing up but doing so professionally based on where I work as it makes me feel grown up.

I enjoy dressing up. If I had the money, I'd be dressing the way The Kinks did between 1964 and 1967.

I love it - as long as everyone else is as well. I tend to go all out. Formal, costume, theme party, etc. LOVE IT! But I am so self conscious I rarely do.

i absolutely hated wearing formal attire as a kid but ive grown on the idea of wearing formal attire as some sort of costume and pretending to be someone else instead of it being me wearing that stuff if it makes sense. i usually just dress like a stoner when im feeling myself. when it comes to costumes, i also like the idea of cosplaying someone quite a bit but i'd need someone with me affirming me because if i dress like a girl and it doesn't look right to me and i don't have someone else supporting me i'll go crazy
