The 'Random Discussion Forum' as 'an ice-breaker?'

Anybody feel that the 'Random Discussion Forum' might just act as an 'ice-breaker" when experiencing those "so-so" and even "not so good days?"

My best experiences come from reading, and contributing to those discussion-threads that discuss the "lighter side of things" - threads which are at times funny, and even those rather notable topics needing follow-up from time-to-time.

IMHO all of WP is an ice breaker.

I do have issues but don't want to get too stuck in them. I don't want to get too involved with the "forum games" because I'll fall down into obsession with posting again. Just too ... I don't know, structured?

But I love to be silly. I love words and wordplay. Double and triple ententre sentences (I interpret all general speech that way, so not ever sure what is meant).

I think the entirety of WP can serve as an ice breaker. Random Discussion is one of the more fun sections.
