Trouble With my iPhone

Since my phone don’t work too good, my WiFi icon can disappear, my WiFi in settings say connected, it really weird. Can someone help me? I don’t know what to do. My iPad & laptop are good. It’s an old phone, iPhone 7, I need a new phone & iPad, I don’t have the money, I have money in my CalABLE account, I think I have to use that for my rent for February.
