I know the scene.
I used to hang out in pubs with an exbf who got drunk with the boys.
There was a lot of loitering and sexual behaviour outside.
They were also the type to turn against each other.
They held grudges.

A charge like this could ruin your life, whether that's fair or not.
I'd caution again that you be on your best behaviour in that crowd.

After they recorded me on video 3 years ago one of the gang came up to me and threatened me. As I walked away from him he shouted “Kiddy fiddler at me”

You're lucky the girls' fathers haven't beaten the s**t out of you.
Just being honest.
You have to be very careful, since these rumours seem to persist.

It's no excuse to say they looked older.
You were drunk.
It could be considered sexual assault against the girls regardless of their age.

like I said before they backed me into a corner and made me expose myself otherwise I would have not have done it obviously.

Autism is no excuse for exposing yourself on purpose or for a thrill even I know that.

How did they make you, though?

I still don't get it.

Did they threaten you, or physically touch you?
Was it coercion?

I know you were cornered but why would you open your trousers if you didn't want to?

(I'm not trying to victim blame, but you'd have to answer to that in court.)

Since the incident took place the police have not become involved with me or anything like that.

Well the reason why I exposed myself is because I thought the gang MIGHT become aggressive towards me if I didn’t do it. At first they told me to take of my t-shirt.

Why were "13 year old girls" hanging out at a public drinking place?

Sounds like others would be incriminated for various crimes before you would be incriminated.

From a legal standpoint, they'd want to know why you didn't report it at the time.
Women deal with the same type of scrutiny if they get assaulted.

This incident took place outside the pubs after they shut at like 1 or 2 in the morning so technically there were not inside the drinking place.

The guy told me on Saturday they were 13 but he could just be making that up because he thinks it is amusing.

I'll bet this sort of thing happens to autistic men all the time.

Jamesy, I’ve long read what advice others have given here about avoiding pubs, bars etc. Though I understand their viewpoint, I do understand yours.

You have every right to go out as you please, with hopes of socialising. There is certainly no crime in that. It’s important for your own sake to safeguard yourself from those who only want to take advantage. Hopefully, from past experiences, you’ve learned to avoid, ignore and/or go on your way. Please never again give those people power, by giving in to their demands of you. They are the ones committing criminal acts of coersion of the vulnerable. Please don’t give them what they want.

Live within the guidelines of society, and you will be doing no wrong. Protect yourself in future, by living your life but please, never do anything that you know to be wrong. You are in control of your life, not them.

I agree with this 100%.
Vulnerable people are also vulnerable in court.
We tend to get eaten alive.
They could easily turn that situation around to blame him.

My advice is the same I'd give women.
Don't let bullies intimidate you, or coerce you to do things you know are wrong.

I think that the dolts who did that to you should get jail time. You didn't do anything wrong. They were the wrongdoers.

Knowing this or thinking this, and having it upheld in court are two different things.
I don't know how many people in this thread have experience with prosecuting sex crimes.

A group of women gather to say they were 13 years old, and innocently walking past the pub for some legitimate reason at 2 a.m., when they were flashed by a drunk man known as a paedo by his associates in the pub. They're so shocked they took pictures to prove it. Don't doubt yourself that they would / could edit their video if it involved any taunting. They screenshot it into a still photo of him facing the group with his pecker out, and he's toast.

He can't just say he thought they were older, because it's illegal to flash any people of any gender or any age. The fact he was drunk and is known to "drink, party, and loiter" will be used against him.

They won't care that he's autistic. That might even make it worse.

I'm not trying to blame Jamesy but I think some people are very naive about how the law works.

So?

Why were 13 year old girls hanging out outside a drinking place at two in the morning?

That's not a crime.
If anything, their parents would be charged but not them.
He can't prove he was intimidated or forced.
The only crime which could be proven is photographic evidence of his willy pointed at minors.
He didn't report any assault, harassment, or trauma from the event.

Again, please believe I'm not trying to victim-blame Jamesy.
His OP question asked about the legal aspect, so that's why I'm playing devil's advocate.
That's how cross-exam works.

This is where I agree with Juliette that Jamesy should protect himself in the future.
