I celebrate by Lunar New Year by having Gau for breakfast. It is a steamed rice pudding made with lots of brown sugar.

They sell Gau at the local Asian market, unlike the traditional mochi the Japanese eat with Kinako and sugar. I bought some mochi this year via Amazon.

I have mixed feelings about this holiday because of the fact I'm nervous that just wearing a Winnie-the-Pooh t-shirt in public is going to get us nuked. :(
