Welcome to Wrong Planet.

You wrote on your introduction that one of your hobbies was manifesting.

I did not recall the meaning so I looked it up. The internet said:

What does “manifest” mean? To manifest something means to think about it often and with focus until you receive it. It's the idea that if you want something, you can mentally attend to it and will it into existence.

Yes that is an Aspie characteristic. So let me explain why this is. Most individuals arrive at a conclusion within a few seconds. They are fast thinkers but they only achieve around a little over 50% accuracy in arriving at an answer. Aspies are a little different. We look at problems from many different angles, look at all the possibilities and then arrive at a conclusion. That just takes more time and most people think that we are dumb or stupid. But that is not true. We generally arrive at a conclusion with over 95 percent accuracy. The problem is that most NTs have moved on to other subjects by the time we decide to share our thoughts on any particular subject. So when we contribute, we are very out of place. The group has moved onto another subject and then another subject and another and they cannot figure out why we are still on the first subject.

So what does that mean?
#1 Believe in yourself and your special skills. Trust yourself.
#2 We have multiple brains. One exist on the left side of our skull and the other on the right side. They are different people. One is our daytime brain and the other exist in REM and deep NREM sleep. So when you have an important decision to make it is always a good thing to sleep on it. Allow both brains to come to a logical decision.

Welcome to WP! I hope you like it here.

P.S. If you're looking for additional support for your self-diagnosis perhaps try these:
- Autism-Spectrum Quotient Test (AQ)
- Aspie Quiz Registration is not required!
But, no diagnosis is required to be on WP, just a polite interest in the topic.

P.P.S. My bride is originally from Texas.
