So hi, and I see how it looks now :)

I'm 56, male he/him, married, mostly asexual (my wife has learned to deal), self-diagnosed at 55.

It has been a journey in the last year or so. I won't say I'm fully balanced from it yet. Finding out and suddenly saying "ok, enough masking, only when needed" - well my wife says I'm more calm.

And wife and I are in huge stress, bought 5 acres north of Montgomery AL and just yesterday got the deck finished. The floor of our home is about 2 meters off the ground, on a slab. And our front porch/deck .. means we can move the rest of our furniture in.

So I've said hi and there you have me in a nutshell at this very moment.

welcome, glad you are here. Moving and all the details is so stressful, but that sounds like a wonderful new beginning. We (me and my mate and our 2 kids who are now grown up) used to live on a fun farm in the country. One of the best times of my life. Hope things calm down a bit for you soon, and that you will enjoy it here.

Welcome to Wrong Planet.

So the floor of your home is about 6 feet off the ground. That is an interesting construction. Is the way it is constructed stable? I built a small log home for the grand kids when they come and visit. It is about a foot off the ground. It was an interesting project.

Thank you all for welcoming. I can be on and off randomly. I had sort of a bad meltdown due to all the change since my last post so finally I remembered I came here.

I'm pretty strong in general. But honestly, too much is too much, and I ignore the "out of fuel" signals for far too long.

Hopefully I can post without ranting and make some on-line acquaintances.
