The Queen of the Night Wilts at Dawn

The Queen of the Night
The Lady of black blight
Who lurks inside my unending madness

The Goddess of terror and fright
Who rebels against the light
Seduced my soul with her scented darkness

The owls are screeching in high trees
The snake is silently slithering
And other demons are howling
Under the shadow of the New Moon

I sleep now restlessly
Here in seemingly
Endless eternal night
Where I see visions of creeping doom

The intoxicating flowers are blooming
Here in the garden of sinful delights
The ancient mother of all devils
Who holds no love for her child

Her breastmilk is deathly poisoning
Yet its fragrance is as tempting
As the sweetest of nectar
From the flowers in the wild

But now I pray for the Sun's mercy
To wilt this flora choking
My heart, mind, and soul
I no longer wish to be ensnared
By Lilith's gripping hold...

I now embrace divine light!
With sword I shall take up a fight!
Against the she-devil of the night!
She shall soon wilt before the dawn!

I banish her from my room!
No longer will I fear the gloom!
Of the void in her hellish womb!
Beneath the darkened moon!

At last I rest peacefully tonight... :skull:

Awesome.

Are you planning on writing an entire song, or just leaving it as a lyrical poem?

I really wish I could make a song out of this, but nope. I have no musical talent and I don't know anybody who does.

The irony is my dad was actually a gifted guitar player who played music purely as a hobby, but I only ever met him one time in my childhood after my parents divorced. I wish he would have stuck around because maybe he could have taught me a thing or two about music? :chin:

You might still have a predisposition, even if there isn't much developed skill.

I seem to have a musical disposition, despite a lack of both talent and developed skill.

Lol it's kinda weird because as a kid and teenager I never really cared about music, but now as an adult I find myself listening to music on youtube all the time now. Like I'm addicted to it. :P

I felt addicted to music for ages, only for it to die. Thankfully it's come back again.
