But the Queen of Hearts is named after Judith, a biblical heroine who wasn't afraid to pick up a sword and chop a man's head off.

Playin' with the Queen of Hearts
Knowin' it ain't really smart
The Joker ain't the only fool
Who'll do anythin' for you

My fav chosen verses I feel suits each queen.

"And if I don't have a heart
Then what is broken?
Bonds of time they come apart
We've been awoken at the end
And if I don't have a heart
Then why keep hoping?
We were blinded from the start
Forever frozen my friend"

(The Queen of Hearts when she is heartbroken and gives into feelings of overwhelming depression)

"I've waited so long for you
Carrying on for you
Onto the faintest hope I hold
I've waited so long for you
Carried this burden to
Fend off the fortunes long foretold
To rot in purest gold
To rot in purest gold"

(The Queen of Diamonds, aka as the Queen of Coins, being bound by her material attachments and earthly desires)

"'Cause I can see the worlds unseen
I can hear them call to me
Harnessing the energy
From every fall and failure
I'll be a force of nature
Upon a world of rust
I'll be a force of nature
The only truth I trust
Is what I've seen"

(The energetic and ambitous Queen of Clubs who is also known as "The Flower Queen". In RWS tarot decks she is depicted as the Queen of Wands and holds a sunflower, ready to spread her garden seeds and conquer new territories.)

"I don't wanna feel, tell me was it worth it?
'Cause I don't give a damn, I don't wanna feel
Tell me that I'm perfect, just the way I am"

(The Queen of Spades feeling emotionally detached aftee being abandoned by those she loves and trusted, thus awakening her inner-bitch which she unleashes on the world.)

I like the "Purest Gold" and unusual voice of Elizabet Zharoff.

Me too, she sounds like an opera singer and somehow reminds me of Annie Lennox from The Eurythmics. 8)

Here's some more cool stuff about Judith. Whether one is religious or not, there's no doubt her tale is really badass. 8)

https://www.dailyartmagazine.com/best-j ... paintings/

Basically she was a beautiful Jewish woman living in Israel who saved her people by "dressing in fine garbs and jewels" (basically dressing like a harlot) to seduce the enemy general Holofernes. When he brought her to his camp she got him so drunk on wine that as he laid passed out she took his own sword and cut his head off, then stuffed his head in a cloth sack with the help of her servant and snuck away from the military camp unnoticed to present the King of Israel with his head and all the knowledge she had learned about his military outpost. Without their top general the entire army was easily crushed.

So basically the Queen of Hearts is much more badass than people give her credit for. 8)
