I do not understand homophobia and especially of the claim that 'God' thinks it's forbidden.
I can admit making fun of such relational dynamics -- really, not even heterosexual relationships are the exception in a form of teasing or even humiliation.
But hate and disgust? Criminalization and condemnation?
People cannot distinguish the law made by men and their societies from natural and higher laws? Especially as a society.
If God is perfect as they claimed, then it made a mistake of creating humans to begin with.
If they think homosexuality is unnatural -- then why does it exists in different species? You don't see animals 'brainwashing' themselves by exposure, don't they?
If homosexuality is unnatural, so is the amygdala in every creatures present along with fear and anxiety.
If the claim is that "humans should know better", yeah -- indeed they should know better than to commit atrocities; but homosexuality is not one of them.
They can mistake it as a hedonistic tendencies due to the lack of procreation when it came to sex, or worse, the assumption of 'taking innocence' and manipulation of those who are influenced as victims. Pathologizing it also counts.
If they treat it like some sort of trial, mistake or situation -- they're not dealing with god's judgment, they're dealing with society's judgment.
God didn't create this scenario, humans did and make a problem out of it. But god let it happen; which I do not mind.
And people in societies generally do not have the discernment to know the difference.
But fine -- while I don't affirm, dismiss nor disapprove; because I just don't see the point to.
Never ask for my affirmation. That annoys me.
Don't assume that my lack of affirmation meant I'm "against" homosexuality.
Could care less if one gets offended.
Else, said people won't be so different from the zealots. Never ask me to pick a damn side.
Because I dislike humans equally; annoying means annoying no matter what side you are.
