I think, in view of the flurry of security legislation, that people in the UK and the US should view the traditional rights obsolete. The Constitution is to in effect a historical document. Who knows how things stand in the UK, because our glorious leaders don't, you get a different opinion from each one on the effects of the legislation they've passed. I'm looking forward to the day when Pat the hotline to God visits us, as technically he should be arrested on arrival and deported for extremist preaching.
