Awwww, thanks!
I have another weird / sad story for that song.
I had a plumber here a few weeks ago. His 16-year old stepdaughter was just killed in a car crash. Her boyfriend the driver also died. It's being considered dangerous driving and other charges are pending on the guy's insurance. The plumber said he copes by listening to Golden Slumbers and Carry that Weight on repeat in his work vehicle. Carry that Weight is for the ahole boyfriend who killed her.
I'll be fine with my problem. I just need to vent and get it out of my system. My BF will be home early Monday and then everything will feel right with the world again.
Thank you though. That's such a pretty song. It's based on a poem from 1603.
Hugs to everyone. Sorry for my weird and random rambles.
Carry That Weight was a favorite of mine when I was a kid. It seems improper to separate it from Golden Slumbers, but YouTube didn't seem to have any good options.
Sad to hear about your plumber's stepdaughter. My mother died, not in the car accident but, in the ensuing argument with the other driver. During the drive back to Florida, after removing the last of her belongings, I repeatedly heard Taylor Swift's 'Antihero' on the radio. That song now reminds me of a very sad time.
I can now apologize for my own weird rambling.
