Hello,

I am a Graduate Student at CSU who was diagnosed with AS after learning I have Irlene's syndrome. I really have trouble keeping friends, as I am constantly being drawn into my latest project/ research. That translates to not getting on here too often (but hopefully I will surprise myself).

I was always labeled as an elven child, even for those with AS I was identified as different by professionals who work with affected individuals. Maybe it is that I am a wooden individual that suddenly erupts into emotional displays of empathy and concern... who knows.

I am a computer programmer, thus talk to all computers like they are Hal (2001: A Space Odyssey for those who have not seen it). I will get into the knack of talking to people over the internet soon enough.

Anyway, looked around and everyone seems nice and intelligent. Looking forward to some good conversations.

Whats an Elven Child by the way?
