What about the braille on toilets? Sometimes there is a notice "Out of Order" Why is THAT not in Braille?
My mom is blind so I can answer some of those questions.
1. If you're blind HOW do you know where the braille is? If the braille is for a door sign(like a room number at a hotel) it is almost always on the right of the door.
2. If you're blind, wouldn't you already KNOW where or what it is? Not neccesarrily. My mom works in a hospital as a physical therapist, and she uses the room number signs all the time.
3. What about the braille on toilets? Sometimes there is a notice "Out of Order" Why is THAT not in Braille? If there is a sign on a door in a bathroom, a blind person would usually go to the next stall.
