Spam II: Hoedown style again

Thagomizer made a thread just so we all could spam,
If you ask if I'm impressed I'll (lie and) say I am.
I can't think of anything to put in this next line;
But I wrote this second hoedown in even less time.

Cool beans: Hoedown style

These beans are really awesome, you could even say they're cool;
I am posting all these hoedowns cause I am a fool.
Bean are sometimes musical, when they're portrayed in art,
or protrayed in music by a Simpson's kid named Bart.

((thought I was going somewhere else with that, eh?))

I refuse to spam. That's why I'm not posting on this thread, or even thinking about posting here. If you think you're reading a post from me on the Spam thread, then you're quite mistaken. It was probably just the northern lights or Venus. Easily confused, aren't they?

SPAM,SPAM,SPAM,SPAM,SPAM,SPAM,SPAM.

Yes! You too can immediately increase the length of your spam with a simple regiment of professionally designed exercises and vitamin supplements. Impress your lady friends or the strangers you meet on the bus. Kids, don't have a credit card? Go check your mum's purse! It's that simple.

Impressive spam is only a phone call away. Don't delay! Act Now!

For the benefit of all you young un's (and so I can increase my post count!! SPAM SPAM SPAM):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_(Monty_Python)

Quote:
Waitress: (brightly) "Well, there's Spam, egg, sausage, and Spam, that's not got much Spam in it."

Mrs Bun: (exasperated) "I don't want any Spam!"

Mr Bun attempts to mollify his wife:

Mr Bun: "Don't make a fuss, dear. I'll have your Spam. I love it. I'm having Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, baked beans, Spam, Spam, and Spam."

Waitress: "Baked beans are off."

Mr Bun: (to Waitress) "Well, can I have Spam instead of the baked beans, then?"

Waitress: "You mean Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, and Spam?"

and as for Spam the "meat" product:

Quote:
Spam was one of the few meats excluded from the British food rationing that began in World War II and continued for a number of years after the war, and the British grew heartily tired of it, hence the sketch.

The Spam joke got used as a term for repetitive internet crap (see: most of my posts) due to the similarity between the relentless pushing of Spam in the sketch, and the relentless pushing of crap via the net. There, now you know!

Sure does. Time for a Monty Python revival I think, you guys below the age of 30 are really missing out on some classic stuff.

Rent Life Of Brian and Monty Python and The Holy Grail if you haven't already. You will understand the true meaning of PMSL then!

Very Happy

(jeez, I feel so old these days!) Laughing

Try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations.

Nope, that's the ANSWER to life, not the MEANING of it!
