This forum has a few "quirks" that I find annoying and I'm sure others do as well. While we, the users, cannot change what the server does there are some things we can do in our browsers to minimise the annoyances.

I've written a simple guide to:

1) Remove ads and other visual clutter
2) Make hyperlinks look "normal" (blue if unvisited, purple if visited)
3) Allow post text to be recovered if your browser crashes

It's hosted externally, so I can make changes to it (since posts here are locked for editing after a while). I can also update the filter list and custom style as needed (though I make no commitment to doing so :)).

I am getting Lazarus.

A little trick I'd like to add: sometimes when I attempt to post something I get the "no post mode specified" error, if I immediately refresh and get the "you can't make another post so soon" one it means it went through. Better than manually checking or double-posting

I use Opera and already have the features you are offering and the option is not available to me as it only has instruction guides for Chrome (Yuck) and Firefox (Meh), but it is a good idea.
