my mom fell earlier today and hit her eye. the eyeball is swollen (won't shut) and red and she can't see out of it. she is being transferred to a specialty hospital right now. words of encouragement are welcome.

Sorry to hear that. I didn't even know an eyeball could get swollen. That sounds awful! I hope she'll recover and soon!

I hope she feels better soon.

If I'm correct, it seems as if she dodged a bullet. It seems as if she didn't hurt anything else. Excellent sign if true!
