I like pretty much anything that sounds good to my ears, as long as it's not offensive, demeaning or having a general negative message.

I don't really care for hip hop or country, though there are a few songs from each genre that I don't mind. Black metal and death metal are two genres I despise, it's just noise to my ears. But if other people like it, it's cool.

Folk, rock, older country, 80s pop, some rap, some r&b, I dunno I probably like any genre of music if it sounds good. I kind of like latin or mexican music, I have no idea what they're saying but the I like the singing and instruments.

As for stuff I hate, i dunno but generally I'm not listening too much stuff with pounding bass or anything really grating on the ears that might give me a headache. I'm not too big of a fan of much pop music nowadays, I'm not listening to much top 40 whatever in general. Rap isn't what it use to be, like a lot of the popular rap now is just super lame and corny. I think I'm pretty open minded when it comes to most music tho, there is stuff I like and I don't put much thought into the rest more than I hate it.

Oh man.. where to start;

Like: Djent, Glitch, Dubstep, Industrial, Grindcore, Powernoise, aggrotech, Deathcore, Metalcore, Hardcore (both the guitar oriented one as well as the electronic one), Drum & Bass... I guess the list goes on with all kinds of specific EDM subgenres. I can appreciate some rap.

Dislike; Not much for power metal, trash metal, R&B, happy hardcore, country, most popmusic in the charts... I suppose I'm not awfully fond of uplifting music, lol. I'll take black metal performed by a homicidal band over most things, rofl.

Plenty of genres leave me quite indifferent; jazz, classical, punk, trance, house, generic hard rock stuff.

But I suppose I'm a bit odd with music, since I'd pay proper money for a band if the guitarist would bite a chunk of it's guitar while playing badly, as opposed to a perfectly crafted show. Not that I'd hate the good show, but I always considered image and performance to be part of the entire notion why music appeals to me. Perhaps I'm just a bit more visual in that sense.

Like: Pretty much ALL metal (even the 'pariah subgenres' like nu metal and deathcore, and the more extreme ones like brutal-death and bestial war black metal), industrial, ambient, electro, classic and conscious hip-hop (occasionally), old-school pop tunes, classic punk, classic rock, even some old country music

Dislike: Modern, whiny country, reggaeton (I spent part of my early childhood in a town with a large Peurto Rican population, and they would BUMP this stuff over the speakers of their low-riders, and I could feel it from inside my house :P), modern hip-hop, "bro-step", and dancehall. I was just introduced to the last one by a Jamaican classmate a couple days ago (he hates the stuff too) and I could feel my IQ drop.
