They've just introduced a tram service between my town and Central Manchester.

The previous journey time (by train) was 20 minutes, in 2009. It's now 40 minutes. The fare is 50% higher. Go figure!

No. I have my own car.

what is your favourite musical instrument and why?

My favorite instrument is the drums. I like the drums because i play them and also because they always carry the beat of any song they are used in so they are one of the most important instruments in music.

Whats your favorite genre of music?

I have a few: classical and metal. I also like jazz, calypso, pop and blues but for some reason I always default to metal and classical.

Are you a fast typist?

I'm very fast for a one-fingered typist (probably).

Do you like or dislike emoticons?

Only dislike ones that imply a very scared/awkward/neurotypical/rude expression which is targeted towards someone who did or said something weird. Such as, o.o or an eye-roll expression. Other than that, I love all of the other emoticons because they are fabulous.

What is has been your strangest or deepest obsession?

as of now my deepest obsession is linguistics, particularly phonetics and glyphs/ writing systems.

regarding chronicity, my longest interest has been medicine (first grade) but it's not very deep.


do you like kiddie pools?

When I was a kid, yes, but now no.

Can you swim?

Probably, yes. Last time I did was 1998.

Do you walk at least half a mile most days?

I'd say so.

Do you like cherries?

They're pretty nice.

In how many languages can you say "hello"?

I can say hello in two languages, english and french.

Whats your favorite kind of cookie?

Chocolate chip.
