Right now I've been playing Shovel Knight. Also thinking of starting Final Fantasy VI seeing as its the only pre-PlayStation Final Fantasy I haven't played.

PC mostly, I have a 360, but I don't use it that often, I really prefer a mouse and keyboard for shooters in particular. I also play a couple of MMORPGs, but I'm taking a little break from them for a shooter binge.

I've been playing Legend of Grimrock 2. Really great game, it's a bigger and improved version of the first with a more open map, nothing more or less than that which is exactly what I wanted. I'm maybe halfway through, maybe less, but I'm going to restart now that I'm refamiliarised myself with the mechanics (it's been a while since I played the first).

Also going through SMT: Nocturne (aka SMT 3 aka SMT Lucifer's Call) for the nth time. It's one of my favourite Japanese RPGs, minimal story and plays sort of like a more in-depth version of Pokemon with demons and party battles. Really want to play SMT 4 but sadly I don't have a 3DS!

I'm still playing "Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom", but somehow I've also managed to find myself alternating games with "Double Dragon".

I really like NG3... So far I just figured out last night how to get to the boss of stage three without using a continue. Once I actually learn to better the method of getting there, I should have enough life to learn how to fight the twin bosses in the boss room sometime soon. I think there are only four stages, but I'd guess stage four is rather long, since stage three is about twice as long as stage two, and stage two is about twice as long as stage one.

With Double Dragon, I'm not very good at it yet. I can only just get to the beginning of stage four so far. It doesn't feel like a game where there's much strategy to learn aside from... who to bait into coming after you first, or simply don't get beaten up too much while you beat up everyone. I think the biggest problem for me is the move progression. I wish there was a way to get that knee to the face move by stage three without abusing the glitch in stage two. It'd make those guys in purple a lot easier to deal with since they start coming in numbers... maybe if I don't pick up any weapons on the way and punch more, I'd get more hits in and get the move just before the three guys in purple just before the broken bridge in stage three. I'd get hit more and take more time, but the first two stages are generous on time, and I think your life refills at the end of each level, not to mention, I could probably rack up a few more hits by wailing on the big boss guy of stage one instead of quickly tricking him to fall off the edge of the conveyor belt to his death :?

Edit(10/21): I was mistaken, I'd not been past the beginning of the caves in stage three of Double Dragon before. I recently tried punching everything from the start, and by the time I had made it to the first level boss I had already gotten almost five of the (seven?)moves, so that worked on making it much easier to get where I'd left off in the caves except for being completely intact this time. Though, I still lost my three lives rather quickly to the unknown platforming/environmental obstacles by the time I got through the first two cave sections... That game is full of mean :|

Playing Shantae at work...I just bought the third game and still haven't beaten the first two =| So I'm going to try to fix that.

If I remember correctly, you're pretty close to a quest where you'll get some.

Are you playing with the ZRP patch? I got sick of the game from having to restart so many times due to bugs, and I tried ZRP for a bit, and so far, it seems like it fixes most of them.

I need to get back into that game sometime...right now, I don't even have my gaming rig set up =(

I have the 2nd game on my 3DS...haven't beaten it yet. In fact, I had to start over because I lost my save data when I had to send the system in for repairs :( I plan on getting the first one as well as the new one and the upcoming 4th though, I love the series. Hopefully Shantae will join the battle as DLC or in the next installment of Smash Bros....

I started Dragon Age: Origins again. Will finish it before Dragon Age: Inquisition be released this month.

Just beat destiny up to level 20...pretty good game if you don't think about the story....the story is garbage and ending is equally so.

Pretty fun though....like diablo with guns...good graphics- ps4 is near pc quality if not pc quality. I was impressed..(don't flame me pc people...I'm writing this on my gaming rig..)

Nuclear Throne (argh I cant stop playing this one), AI War, Baroque.

And then, in 12 hours the new Binding of Isaac finally releases.

At that point, nothing else matters.

Until the new LittleBigPlanet comes out later this month. That too, will matter, right alongside Isaac. Annoyingly, this requires that I buy a PS4, essentially paying $400 or whatever for ONE game on a console that I dont actually want. I dont really care, though...

One Must Fall: 2097 - Awesome DOS fighting game, highly recommended if you're looking for a fun oldschool fighter with simple controls.

OpenLugaru - Basically a port of Lugaru HD for Linux. It's a 3D third-person beat 'em up where you play as this badass anthropomorphic ninja rabbit. The controls have a bit of a learning curve, but once you master them, you'll be jumping off walls and slinging throwing knives in no time. :D

Black Shades - An innovative freeware FPS with a unique low-poly graphical style and a unique premise. Basically, you're the psychic bodyguard of an unnamed president, and you have to protect him from assassins as he walks down the street. You have to be on the lookout as the assassins look just like all the other random pedestrians, excepting the weapons they're carrying, and you get penalized if you kill any innocent bystanders.
