I hope you get the job.. It will be very rewarding. Computers always break down, and most people panic when that happens. You will alleviate that panic.

So do evolving websites. That's what she'll be testing if she goes this route, and I can most definitely attest to the panic that we are looking to avoid. Oh the stories I could tell

Unfortunately our websites require logging in due to the nature of the system (it's for insurance agents only), so I can't usefully link you to what she'll be doing. Not only does it seem right up her alley, but the interview went extraordinarily well! In fact, my boss seemed more nervous than she did, and at first was hesitant about her years of data entry following to her getting out of her "comfort zone", but once I told him she wasn't in any comfort zone at her old job to begin with, he felt much better about things. After discussion about how it'll pan out, he seemed to be confident that she would fit in quite well here, and would enjoy the position! He mentioned discussing more with me come Monday (he was quite busy today, as was I), but overall even HE thinks the interview went extremely well!

So good news all around! Can't wait to see what next week will entail :D

The ability to evaluate and treat "broken" websites is a very important skill to have.

Alas, I am not one of those with that particular skill!

I'm computer-literate--but probably on a "middle-school" level. I'm a good researcher--but a rather poor "fixer." I have the Midas Touch as far as computers are concerned LOL

Most younger people have computer literacy commensurate with their educational level.
