Besides, as Gene Simmons from KISS said, 'It's the armpit of the world'. He is a Jew talking about the country of his ancestors. So it definitely means something when even a Jew thinks their country is s**t.

I have a serious issue with certain people in this group of forums, who take great pleasure in abusing the bejesus out of people they don't agree with. And when others retaliate to these certain people, they cop insults like 'moron, emo, ret*d etc. Well I'm not taking any more of this s**t. I've copped at least two threads or more of abuse from people recently like snake321, iamnotaparakeet, JonnyBGoode, Wiggerbeater, Remnant, and heaps of others. I expect to be treated to some courtesy if I give my opinion, whether it's on bearing arms in the US, or pulling troops out of Israel, or religion or whatever. If I am abused or have names thrown at me, I will not cop it on the chin, I will fight back. And if you check out the threads on 'People being robots' and the gun issue, you will see I have done that. Now if these perpetrators like the abovementioned feel aggrieved and want me banned, then that proves what idiots they really are, and they should cop the same as well. I am not going to be punished for having my say while these people can get away with murder just because they think the internet belongs to them. WrongPlanet belongs to everyone, not just a select few Americans, and these people better get used to it.

You have some serious delusions going on, but when the drug wears off it will become clearer again, just remind yourself, 'I have absorbed modern corporate media and it has done something to my brain' when you stop tripping reality will return, just relax, take some deep breaths and tell yourself... 'I have done something to my brain, I have done something to my brain...'
Try a darkened room, reduce your stimuli, remember to keep taking deep relaxing breaths...

Turdbrain, I've been making it my hobby destroying anti-Jew debaters here. I've run a couple of em straight off the boards after wiping their faces in their own ignorance. If you'd like to actually try to step up rather than claim I'm on drugs, I'd be glad to hand you your ass in debate.

Maybe if you actually listened to the news instead of just shaking your own hand over how you ignore it, you wouldn't be so ignorant.

Mc_Jeff's response illustrates an interesting tidbit about the Arab-Israeli conflict: many of Israel's supporters believe its existence is still essential to the survival of the Jewish people, and thus, see anyone who's against Israel as being against Jews in general. This is, in large part, the reason that Israel tends to be less than delicate when it comes to its own security and defense. Ironically, this makes the protestations against Israel even louder, thus feeding back into the "world is out to get us" mindset -all in all a rather interesting dynamic.

Before anyone jumps on my post, please remember that I'm trying to steer the discussion of this rather controversial topic back towards more rational discourse. While I suppose screaming at each other is more viscerally satisfying, it accomplishes absolutely nothing, and will probably result in badly hurt feelings and/or ejection from the WP.net community.

Maybe kiwi humour is hard to get but I was trying to be lighthearted and humour was the main thrust of my point, do you really see any point in trying to actually discuss anything with any of these loonies?, lol

Both have nukes, both are willing to blow their enemies to kingdom come, no matter what the cost. The only difference is that the Americans whole-heatedly sponsor the carnage that the Israelis would commit because they gave them the weapons in the first place. All because of some freaked-out idea that te bible said that land was theirs first blah-de-blah. Using that crappy logic, the Abos here and your native Indians would fell justified in pissing all us white folk off because they 'owned' the land first. Never mind that civilisations now stand and were created by the ones who took over the land (granted the Jews also had a civilisation in Palestine but the Romans conquered it in 68 CE) and we would have just as much claim to our lands as those who were here before us. So just because it says somewhere in that book of yours that the Jews have more right to that land because of some promise, remember also that i) can anyone actually verifiy that promise as fact? (probably no, given that today it would all be here-say) and ii) promises are generally always broken. To me, all this fighting in the middle east over religion and land or whatever is just a load of rubbish anyway, and any sane person should move on to more important issues, such as where they are getting their next meal and paying the utility bills.

Is blatant evangelism allowed on this forum?

Ask Raggedy Man and parakeet. They seem to be the experts (you know, former drips under pressure) on the subject.
