Im talking about talking about single mothers,
not divorce mothers,there's a difference.
There maybe more out of wedlock kids
in the conservative state, however is the father
or mother loyal to the kid or each other.

to me a single mother is a woman who
A:has no idea who the father is
or
B:the father left before the kid was even born

a divorce,separated mother
A:know who the father is
and
B:the father didn't leave until the kid got older

I am not certain what you mean by this? Are you implying something about conservatives and/or liberals?

I checked the DHS website, but found no state by state data on child support arrears, but based on the accuracy of your other predictions...

My bio mom is a staunch Republican, votes a straight ticket every time.Yet she got pregnant out of wedlock, then married a man who was not my dad to appear proper, then divorced him after I was born and handed me over to family to adopt and raise.
I've never met my bio dad, don't really care to.

I am getting impression that Bill is a closet misogynist. Seem to be obsessed with feminist issues. Who are you trying so hard to convince?

I think you could remove the word "closet" and substitute in the word "proud."

I don't know if you have ever had a female boss or supervisor, but if you had, you would know that females earn the title "bossy." And that is not a knock on females. Maybe I don't understand your post to begin with. You are always all over the place.

So yes, it often is a man's fault. *Drops the mic*

yeah, but if people were more conservative,we would
have less single mother.

Looks like the conservative Deep South takes the lead in single motherhood...

Bill, you are right. Unmarried parents are not necessarily single, and divorced parents are not necessarily raising the child on their own. Thank you for correcting me (and others) :)

Would you like to provide some evidence to support your claim that that conservatives (Republicans) are less likely to be "single mothers"? :)

Please use evidence that they actually are (i.e. a posteriori evidence) rather than reasons why they should be (a priori hypothesising).

Thank you! :)

There is nothing wrong with calling a bossy person bossy. What did they want you to use instead, "assertive", because it conjures up images of poor, silenced and oppressed women finally finding their voices and speaking up? Assertive is good. Bossy is kind of bitchy but sometimes people need to be bossy. Nothing wrong with bossy.

What difference does that make? If you assume that many liberals don't marry but live together, and counted that as being married for the sake of the statistics, it would only deepen the divide, further diminishing your case.

I think we've provided plenty of evidence that your assertions have no basis in reality. You need to answer those questions yourself.

I happen to have two bosses, one male and one female. I refer to both of them with gender neutral term: control-freak. They both equally fret about being seen as micro managers.

Discrimination is never ok but it sometimes gets used in place of discernment and things get confused way too much as a result.

So bossy women(in the most literal sense) want to ban the word bossy, do they not see the irony in that?

Bossy is a gender neutral term in my opinion, most commonly used in reference to children who try to control their younger siblings or playmates usually not in a particularly nice manner which seems pretty appropriate in this case.
