That also depends on whether you like their weather.
Funny you have a Loki quote, since he was ultimately invented by the Scandinavians (assuming Asgard does not really exist).

I really don't think I would mind it, if the nordic countries prove to be too harsh then I'd move to Switzerland. :D Or Japan, I love their culture but it would be too different from mine and would be difficult to adapt to.

Loki the trickster is my favourite god (though I don't actually believe he exists).

I think Denmark has quite a moderate climate. Western Europe is much milder than you would expect from the latitude because of the Atlantic Ocean and North Sea. It gives us heat in winter and cool in summer.
The Scandinavian languages probably wouldn't be too hard for an English speaker to learn either. Most people there speak English anyway.

Japan is radioactive. I wouldn't live there if you paid me.

I wouldn't mind living in Denmark! I know someone who lives in Sweden though and loves it, even with the weather.

Not all of it, surely? 8O It's a pity.

I live in the Netherlands and I've been to Denmark. The countries were pretty similar. Even the language sounded like it was only slightly different. Climate and landscape were also similar: moist and flat.

How does the Netherlands compare in terms of quality of life? I'm assuming it's also a very good place to live for a middle class person.

Another fine example - It's illegal to run a tor exit node in Austria:

America seems to be getting more altruistic. For example, the affordable care act.
The unfortunate thing is as America gets more altruistic my country is getting more Americanized (no offence).
When I say Americanized I'm not referring to the culture, I have no problem with seeing American shows on the TV.
What I mean is our government is becoming increasingly cruel, cutting welfare and healthcare, becoming more like the US before the ACA.

I don't define a people by its government and I don't blame a people for one of its members. I don't like to generalize. Some people might think all Americans are like the guy in the link but I think at least one American is like the guy in the link;
