The invention of lying (or welcome to my Aspie world)

I saw the trailer for this film. It's as if the gene for lying hasn't come up yet so everyone tells the brutal truth. And then some smart guy figures out that he can lie and gets ahead that way.

This sounds like how I conduct myself in life. I often tell the truth when I shouldn't (I've been told after the fact, of course).

It might be too painful for me to watch this or it might help me see why I should lie in social/work situations.

Your typical person learns to lie at an early age I belive out of an outdated survival instinct. I guess it makes life easier.

We could probably use a few Aspie politicians.

i can be brutally honest too,
i used to be honest all the time because i was in a depressed mood,
i really didn't have the creativity at that time to think outside the box and lie,
now that im confident and not as depressed i do let a few lies slip out my mouth,
not too often though otherwise i might be detected
guess im an aspie with a novice level of deciet
i never lie about big things, ive just learned to use white lies alot more etc
