I always see those "currently listening to..." things people have on IM or whatever. It occurred to me that it might be amusing to have a "currently playing over and over in my head" thread. I saw something in the YMBAAI thread about getting part of a song stuck in your head, and that happens to me *every day*.

So for me, the current selection is "Heart of Stone" by the Rolling Stones because that was the last song I was listening to. But in the past week, I had a couple of days of the chorus of "Flashlight" by Parliament, and before that it was bits of "The Blue Danube" waltz. Oh, and this morning I had "Jazz Police" by Leonard Cohen.

I have the theme music to the recent "Blood Bowl" game in my head right now. I had the house to myself earlier so was able to sing a bit, which usually leaves me a little musically drained. 8)

The Small Print by Muse

Had to fire up iTunes just so I could hear it for real.

Star Spangled Banner. It's been about 5-6 days, I think. When I was kid I listened to Sousa marches obsessively, which I think I burned some of them into my brain rather deeply (making it easy for them to loop). Erg, very tired of it now, but don't feel like listening to any music, either.

Or if I could at least change the tune!

This one's been playing in my head, since last night:

I have a feeling that I've lost a friend.

It's a lot better than 'I'm a Loser' by The Beatles.

"Yester-me yester-you yesterday" by Stevie Wonder. It was used as vignette for a show here, and I can't get it out of my head.

Occasionally it's been Weird Al's "The saga begins" or "Ebay" in stead the last weeks.

At least I like all 3, even on repeat!

Sorry to hear that. It makes me think of this Kinks song, which is melancholy but still makes my heart glad. It makes me feel better when I'm down. I think there's at least a little footage of your man Mick in the video.
