I have a friend over for almost a week...And for some unshakable reason she's giving me lesbian vibes...It's scaring me, and making me not able to enjoy our time together.
Am I hopefully wrong? She has a boyfriend, so she shouldn't, but she does. |

She could be bi. I had a bi girl come on to me once. We would have sleepovers at her place but it never clicked until she invited me to sleep in her bed. I slept in the other bed on the other side of the room. She got over me and realized that I was straight after that. We're still friends though. |

Are you roommates or is this for a vacation-type deal? Just level with her and tell her how you feel. Not like "EWW UR A DYKE!" but just say that you're uncomfortable sleeping in the same bed. Bring a sleeping bag and a pillow and you can sleep on the floor or a couch or wherever. |

It's vacationy. She's staying at my house. I am not sure how she'd take me suddenly not sleeping in the same bed, cuz I've never been bugged by being roommates before. She might think I don't like her, or worse, I am getting lesbo vibes D:.
It scares me because I've never encountered it before. And the idea of a girl liking me romantically is scary. I've grown up in a christian school, for my high school years, so I'm not used to anything non-heterosexual. I am fine with gay guys, and lesbians. But the possibility of encountering one (lesbian) face to face is a bit freaky... |

Start talking about hot guys with her and make it obvious you like guys. Hopefully she'll get it.
Otherwise, just let her know you're straight. _________________ Current obsessions: Miatas, Investing

is she ugly? some guy in my neighbourhood keeps hitting on me but the only reason i dont like it is because he is unattractive! i wouldnt let it bother you unless they force the issue. although i have to admit i have thought about changing my walking routine to go a different way it is that bad so i understand |

Ok, I'll go into super hetero-mode.
It's so stressful because I have no idea if she's bi, or not. She's probably just open...But she's said some things...
I'm glad you know what I'm talking about, Richard...I mean, not for you, but I'm glad you can sympathise.
I feel guilty I'm second-guessing her, too, because we're supposed to be quite close friends. |

I'm used to getting hit on by women. They like me more than men, I don't get it. I just make it clear that I'm not into them and they get the idea. It's not like she's gonna rape you or anything. She's your friend so she'll understand but you won't know what's exactly going down until you talk to her about it. |

It matters because it makes me feel uncomfortable.
Yeah, okay. Makes sense. Ugh, I'm too nervous to tell her straight away. Should I just wait it out? We only have ..Oh yay! only 2 more nights together. |
