In the scene where Dennis Nerdry(Wayne Knight) fell down from the hill I could have sworn that when he tripped I heard a cartoon type noise. It could have just been the sound of his shoes on the rocks. Did anyone else hear it?

I have always heard it. Some weird sound effect.

So I'm not the only one thank you. Maybe Speilberg put that sound affect in there as a gag kinda like in that crappy Thunderbirds movie when for a brief moment you can see strings on the actors hands.

Isn't that the sound of the 'spitting dinosaur'?

I have heard of this, apparently it is fairly well known, I think it is thought as kind of infamous, but really that character is kind of strange.

On another thing I hate how that dinosaur, if memory serves dilophosaurus (I think means crested Lizard) is not much like it's real life counterpart, it would have been more fitting for it's size to be swapped by the Velociraptor, but no real evidence pointing to the other traits it had either. Sorry just my inner dinosaur interest coming out, I had a big one when I was a child and I would watch this movie often, I was kind of peeved to learn then the in accurate parts.

Also I heard a while back about possibly a fourth movie, I hope that becomes true.

I remember that. It was just the sound of that hitch tow cord he was pulling winding back up.

I heard that too. They should if it's possible bring back the cast of the first movie and return to the first island. In JP3 they went to the 2nd island in TLWJP. Although there were a few some good moments TLWJP wasn't really that good. JP3 was better but not on the same level as say The Return of the King or Toy Story 3.

Now that I'm remembering the scene the better it was actually the sound of the cord being rapidly unwound as he fell down that embankment.
