Medical: Mia was diagnosed at the age of nine with High Functioning Asperger's Syndrome / Autism. She has always refered to it as Asperger's Syndrome.

Personality Snapshot: At first glance Mia can come across as quiet and shy. Once you get to know her though she's very much an open book, and often doesn't know when to shut her mouth.

Mia is very dreamy, sensitive and emotional. Sometimes she can get so caught up in things that its hard to get through to her. Eventually if you persevere, you will succeed. Mia is very accepting of others and tries to be non-judgmental. Although she does not like drama she has a tendency to attract it. Mia hates being the centre of attention. She can have a short temper and is extremely impatient. Mia is also very sensitive and can be really hurt by little things that some people are able to just forget. At her worst Mia has deep mood swings and lashes out at anyone who irritates her. Unfortunately, this seems on the most part to be the people closest to her. However she is fiercely loyal to those she loves and is not afraid to stand up for what's right.

TV: Mia does not watch much TV but she loves movies, especially teenage or family. Her current favourites are Wild Child, Parenthood, Motherhood, Yours, Mine & Ours and The Perfect Man. She also likes children's programmes like Peppa Pig, Timmy Time, Something Special and Shaun The Sheep. She doesn't like Driver Dan's Story Train as she finds it to be pointless.

Political Views: When Mia was just two years old she was watching the tv. John Major came on the screen. She pointed at him and announced 'That's John Major, I don't like him. He's disappointing!' Her Mother wrote to a magazine suggesting they should lower the voting age and got £5 for her letter. Mia now however has no interest in politics at all.

Past (Short Version): Mia was born and grew up in Somerset with her Mum, older brother Aidan and older sister Leanne. Her Mum and Dad divorced when she was 1. When she was 9 she moved to Cornwall with her Mum. When Mia was 14 her Mum re-married and she got a step-Dad. They all moved house but, stayed in Cornwall. Mia is now 17 and living near London.

Mia was looking around MyYearBook one day in January 2010 as she did every day when she decided to do her daily blind date. She answered all the questions and found she matched a profile. Jason Duncombe. Normally Mia would have gone off the page. It was very rare that she clicked to look at someone's profile. For some reason that day, she decided to look at Jason's profile. She also decided to send him a mail.

She clicked send and carried on using the site. Mia wasn't expecting a reply so was shocked when Jason replied. She was even more surprised when he continued to reply. It made Mia feel special, she'd never felt this close to someone before without having met them first. Mia was already in a relationship and had no idea what to do. She tried hard to hide her feelings and to keep as just friends but she couldn't. Jason had helped her through a lot. He'd helped her with anorexia and a whole lot of other things. Sometimes he'd been the only person she could really talk to and tell everything. Jason would always listen and give the best advice. He wouldn't judge her or tell her she was being silly. Most days it really did feel like he was the only one who understood her. At the end of the day when everything got too much Jason would always be there waiting to talk.

By the time March 1st came around she couldn't do it any longer. Mia sent her boyfriend a text and ended it with him. She then took a huge step and made public her and Jason by changing her relationship status on facebook. Both of them got a lot of abuse in the first few weeks but, eventually it all died down. Mia was pleased that people had decided to leave them alone.

In May 2010 Mia and Jason finally met when Jason came down to Cornwall from Essex to stay with Mia and her family for a week. This just confirmed everything they already knew and made their love for each other a whole lot more real.

On the 1st September 2010 it was their six month anniversary. Mia was staying with Jason and his family that week and Jason wanted to do something really special. He took Mia on the bus to Frinton-On-Sea. They walked to a grassy place near to beach and sat in the sun for a bit listening to Mia's iPod and chatting about life. After a while Jason told Mia to come with him. They left their things on the bench where they had been sitting. Mia was confused but did what he wanted anyway. Jason had a little box in his hand. He got down on one knee, opened the box and asked Mia to marry him. Mia accepted and Jason put the ring on her finger. Mia went to her bag to get something and this time it was Jason's turn to be confused. She went back over to him and opened up the box that was in her hand. It contained a ring. She put it on his finger and they just looked at each other in amazement for a bit, hardly daring to believe what had just happened.

Mia and Jason had no idea what their friends and family would say. They thought that some people would just be nasty but, they had a real shock. So far, everyone has been lovely, kind and very supportive towards them.

Mia and Jason are going to be engaged for a long time, at least two years. No plans have been made regarding a wedding but, Mia and Jason do have a few things planned. One thing that's definite is that they need to save up quite a bit of money before they can ever get married.

In the future Mia and Jason would like to have children. They would like at least two of their own. Jordan and Toyah. Mia and Jason would also like to adopt children. Mia is happy that Jason shares this dream because it has been Mia's ever since she can remember. Mia and Jason are also set on the fact that they would like a lot of red things in their kitchen. They haven't decided anything for any other room, apart from having a big sofa in the lounge.

If Mia had to describe Jason she would say: Jason is amazing. I get butterflies whenever I see him. I love waking up and knowing that he's in the room. I love watching him when he's sleeping and just thinking about him. He makes my heart smile all the time. When I'm mad at him its never for too long because I hate thinking that he might be upset. Jason has beautiful black hair and captivating blue eyes. His smile makes me melt like a snowflake and his voice is just so hot. I've never been so happy before. Jason's hugs and kisses are so special that they make me feel like I'm flying. When I'm out somewhere with him I love holding his hand just because I can. But, most of all I just love him <3
