Not all regular posters here appear fascist or talk down to youngsters half their age, but as happens in all communities, I have noticed an ugly rise in collective consciousness, put down statements, and bullying.

This elite group, will try to ostracise and bully members who have a different perspective than that of this alpha group, who dominate and are top of the WP heirachy only due to online presence, volume of written word, and quality of readable material.

Just as power corrupts anyone, being at the top of the WP pyramid does not allow you to throw stones at those nearer the bottom.

I've observed many times a put down over a lazy or incorrect statement, and then the aggressor says something equally stupid. WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES

People in glass houses should not throw stones

I see only a very small core at the top, a larger bunch of sidekicks all behaving like a bunch of NT's

You appear to me as the bullys of WP.

Groups will always be groups, and this kind of thing is always innevitable

Caesar's ugly mob needs to get back in their box , trying to be the kingpin by talking down to others is an ugly look

Funny, because this is you assuming that all NTs are bullies.
Whether you meant it or not, that's how it came across.
If you're going to talk about bullying, at least don't throw in an attack while doing so.

Are you talking about the Atheist's here? Or the gang of posters on the weird and seedy recess of the forum that is the adult forum They're the only two groups I know of on WP. There a few trolls, but generally they are easy to ignore.

By the way, I don't consider myself to be top of the WP popularity ladder as it were, nowhere near.

Is there a "top of the WP foodchain"? It probably depends which forum you lurk on; The PPR forum and Random have different uber-posters, who have little to do with each other.

I've only ran into two jerks on the PPR forum (gasp!), although many people are strongly, strongly opinionated there.
