According to Yahoo Japan the earthquake was weak 5, not 7.3. Still bad though. :(

it is a pity that there will be no new videos of tsunamis generated by the event.

Tenno Heiko Banzai, motherf**kers! It is too bad that Col. Tibbets did not utter Banzai when he ordered the A-bomb dropped on Hiroshima. That would have bee so ---- right!.

I celebrate August 6 and August 9 as days of rejoicing.

But you're off on your calendar, because by the time of the attack on Pearl Harbor (sic), it was already December 8 in Japan.

But don't let scientific accuracy get in the way of romanticism.

Why? Japan has been our ally for nearly 70 years now.

Ruveyn hasn't yet forgiven the Babylonians or the Romans.

It'll be a while...

The later generation learned how to behave themselves. They have forsworn war and trod the paths of commerce. Good for them. It's their grandfather and great uncles I can't forgive.

I like to think the the events of August 6 and August 9 taught the Japanese a lesson they took to heart.

Tenno Heike Banzai!! !!

My Dad fought on Attu.It was very bad.
He never once said one bad word about the Japanese.
That's the kind of man he was,a hero.
War was in his face and after what he went thru he didn't have it in him to hate,he was sad about the whole thing.

My Grandfather was on Guadalcanal and a bunch of other islands and he wouldn't have anything to do with the Japanese.
