God is (ironically defined as) ineffable. Let "X" be an undefined variable. Does it have any meaning to say,"X" exists?
God cannot be known via the correspondence theory of truth*. However, there are many things that cannot be validated. For example,explain in words how to move your fingers. You cannot! The instructions are ineffable!

If the CTT is true it must refer to something that corresponds (resembles) to it. That must be another CTT! Infinite regress,similar to Plato's third man argument if one substitutes "forms" with concepts (universals).

Definition of INEFFABLE, according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary:
1. incapable of being expressed in words : indescribable <ineffable joy>; unspeakable <ineffable disgust>
2. not to be uttered <the ineffable name of G^D.>

If a thing can not be described, then it is indescribable.

That is why I asked rhetorically if "X" is an undefined variable,does it make sense to ask,"does "X" exist? However, we deal with undefined variables everyday. For example, pertaining to the example I gave, we move our fingers!

I go by the maxim that if a thing can not be measured, then it can not be said to exist.

Thought processes? EEGs!

Emotive feelings? Hormonal gradients!

Point at existence. ( you cannot without pointing at a particular thing, existence is not particular) Point at consciousness! Suppose, you visualize a triangle. Do you think there is a physical triangle in your brain?
To say that only third person narratives are valid,is self refuting. Because 3rd person narratives rely on first person narratives.
"1+1=2" is only an ink pattern (not a true or false proposition) until consciousness apprehends it. Concepts can only be grasped (apprehended) when qualia (google that) interacts with it.

Right, however that leads to the question, how is it that things like this were to be taken before the technology to measure them existed? I pressume thought processes and emotions were considered a real phenomenon in the study relating to these before such technology came along (And I don't mean anything paranormal or mystical)

Computers understand nothing because they lack intentionality (google,"stanford encyclopedia of philosophy intentionality " I am using "intentionality "in its philosophical sense,not its common usuage). Does a light switch in the "on" position understand that the light is on? Of course not. The "on"switch refers to nothing,not even the on light.

If what you say is true,that the ineffable is meaningless nonsense, then it is meaningless nonsense to claim that reality exists (exists is not a predicate), it is meaningless nonsense to claim that one is conscious and meaningless nonsense to say that one knows how to move one's fingers.

God isn't real! He is a man made concept made to give people a false sense of security for lifes problems and give people a dillusion when you die you go somewhere. He is also made up to explain things that cannot be explained scientificly or logically yet. People are expected to believe in skyfairies talking snakes people being made out of dust and the world only being 6000 years old when science pretty much debunked that.
