Stewie on Family Guy stole the time machine from his past self who had come forward in time to shop at Christmas time, and saved Brian from dying.
Sorry if I spoiled this for anyone. Still, a great Christmas episode.

No one ought to be surprised by this. Sitcoms run off of the status quo.

Also, even though I don't follow this show anymore or really care myself, this is the second time in this arc that someone's spoiled Family Guy in a thread title. FFS, other people may not have seen the episode yet, and if they even so much as look through the topic list, you may be denying them the dramatic pleasure of discovering this on their own.

*Yawn* Never been into family guy.

Have to admit, that it was bloody brilliant of the writers/producers, to come up with a plot, that got pretty much all of the developed world (Even those who don't watch that s**t, like myself), at least reading up, and finding out what's going on, and keen on following updates at least.

Have to give it to them, I tell you!

HUZZAH! So this does confirm what I knew all along, that Brian's death was nothing more than a publicity stunt. QED......

Considering that there is a six- to nine-month lead-time on most new TV episodes, it's a safe bet that the producers of Family Guy didn't 'cave' to pressure from fans of Brian. Instead, it's likely that they had planned this sometime around last June, just to mess with us and keep us interested.
