Hello,

Anybody type in the terms 'Asperger' 'Adults' in GOOGLE NEWS this Autism Awareness Month; only to find almost nothing mentioned in the major U.S. media outlets?

What's really disappointing is lack of mentions of Asperger adult concerns in the media markets serving the SF Bay Area/Silicon Valley, Seattle, and Boston; the regions that are home to many Asperger adults in the technology industries.

Most of the major media mentions of Asperger adult concerns are in the UK.

Time to boost mentions of Asperger adult concerns; as "critical mass" is about to reach that "tipping point" this Autism Awareness Month 2014!

As of 2010 "National Institutes of Health (NIH) allocated only 2.4% of its autism research funding toward services-related research and only 1.5% toward research on the needs of adults" according to ASAN.

So we are on our own. That is why sites like this where we help each other are so important.

That is media mention in a metro-region, orientated around the technology industries, and home to many Asperger adults.

Let's boost momentum this Autism Awareness Month by having your concerns heard!
