A WP member, former WP moderator, and friend of mine, Starbuline passed away recently and I'm making this thread for people to post messages about her. All comments will be positive and relate to wishing Starbuline well. I'd just like to say that she will be greatly missed. Hearing the news of her departure has caused me great grief.

RIP Sophie.

Wow, I'm so sorry, Alex. You have all my sympathy, and I'll be sending good thoughts your way. I hope that you have good friends and family who can help you through this difficult time.

I remember Starbuline. I think I remember that her location said "Russia," and she posted one time that she put that because that's where her heart was. Is that right? And her avatar was a girl looking out the window of a train. I hope she's happy now, wherever she is, in a place where it doesn't matter that you're NT or AS.

I will never forget. I remember once when Starbuline was very sad and I asked her if she knew about Russian nesting dolls (I live in Alaska where there is a strong Russian influence). She said yes. I told her she reminded me of those pretty Russian nesting dolls sinc she is has many layers, each inside the other. She said this image made her happy!

Alex, I am disturbed by this news. And very sad (tears). Come back Starbuline. Alex, I am sorry your friend is gone.

Brokenhearted...
How can I bear the pain? So many plans...permanently interrupted. So many dreams...shattered. Hopes...dashed... All gone.
Why? Why this? Why us? Why me? Helplessness...hopelessness... Life will never be the same again.
Is it even worth living? Where are you, God?

I'm right here beside you, my child...even though you may not feel my presence,
I am holding you close under the shadow of my wings...I will walk with you through this dark night.
Do not shrink from weeping...I gave you tears for emotional release...Don't try to hide your grief
Let it become for you a source of healing...a process of restoration...for I have planned it so.
Those who mourn will be blessed...I will be holding on to you even when you can't hold on to me.

Seek my face, child of mine...receive my promise, impossible as it seems now...that joy will come in the morning.
It may take much time...but I will heal your broken heart.
I know the night seems endless...but MORNING WILL COME.
I have promised.

I wish you peace. A space forever empty, you are missed. No words for the feeling.

Starbuline was very active posting here around the time that I first started lurking, before I joined WP. She was the second person I started recognizing around the forums. I remember many moments about which I've read others reminiscing, too. I remember most keenly the avatar she had when I joined and how much I identified with the emotion I felt that avatar expressed. I tried looking for it and couldn't find it, but the image is firmly impressed on my mind. She puzzled me in a lot of ways and I'd wanted to talk with her more. I dearly wish I had.

She had so much to live for..... So much ahead of her.
"Life is so unfair to aspies". It's not life that's unfair but the trolls and imbeciles that make it that way....
May you find peace Starbuline.

I'm so sorry to hear about Starbuline.

My 7 year old, UbbyUbbyUbby had a huge crush on her and was always sending her PM's saying, 'I love you Starbuline'.

Also, on many in many of her threads, he would just write, 'I love you Starbuline!'

I PM'ed her to ask if it was okay - I didn't want her to feel harassed by my son.

But she wrote back saying she thought he was cute and didn't mind at all.

We will miss her greatly.
