I don't know that much about Ron Paul's background except what's circulating online now concerning his campaign, but his idealism has struck me as a very Aspergian trait, and just now when watching a debate, I noticed he was stimming.

A bit of fidgeting is insufficient for diagnosis. And there are plenty of NT idealists. I intend to vote for Dr. Paul, whether or not he is autistic is irrelevant to me. I believe him to be an honest, intelligent man, and it's been quite a while since we had such a man in office.

I was wondering about this but I can't be sure. The way his ideas are tossed aside and after reading comments from his fan about him looking more presidential and critiquing his mannerisms, I was wondering what they saw that was strange that I didn't think was strange.
As a result, I honestly don't know.
