this summer I made my first visit to a nude beach (well 2 actually) it was great, to anyone not worried about being in great shape, you don't have to be, there are people of all shapes, sizes there

I want to try a nudist resort as well but none are located near me

There wasn't one here for me. I'm neither a prude nor a wimp but somewhere in between.

None of those options fit me. I don’t like being nude, but not because I find it disgusting. I feel uncomfortable psychically when nude. As someone else said, it is a sensory issue.

I am somewhere between 3rd and 4th option. I'll walk all over my house nude but then I again I live alone. I wouldn't care if my parents saw me but I have never been nude in front of them since I was a kid and would prefer to keep it that way for their sake lol.

I don't have mental issues with nudity - changing rooms don't bother me, for instance - but I hardly ever spend time without clothes on, because of sensory issues.

Being naked is good until someone eats a bad apple and then makes up a rule.

I like it when attractive women are naked.

Meh, I'm no exhibitionist, but I see nothing wrong with nudity. I'm obsessed with anatomy and think the lines, shapes, protrusions, and bulks are fascinating.

I always loved to be naked and even painted naked most of the time. In tropical countries I like to sleep naked in bed. recently in Peru I do have to shower and take my towel from the balcony which is opposite windows of bedrooms and I know that a few young children sleep there, so I hide my private parts, quicly to get the towel from the railing where it was drying from the day before.

I had my own 2 children and we showered or took baths together naked. It was indeed mum who started insisting that each one showers alone and around the age of 10 or 11 my kids developed a shame to see each other naked. According to their mum...that was natural, all kids feel like that she said. I disagree.

I have seen kids grown up in the nude at home and went with their parents to nude beaches and they haveno hang ups at all. Is it innate...sometimes, peer presure afraid to be laughed at, the fact that you are hung or not starts playing a role maybe at a certain age...complexes of no boobs or big boobs popping up.

I am ashamed for no logical reason.
And I don't like hair that's not on my head. I don't mind it on other people but I don't want it on me. For example: I don't want people to see my armpit hair, even if everybody else around me has it. Even though everybody has (or gets) body hair, I'm ashamed of mine (for no logical reason). Part of the reason is that I have a bit more of it than average. Also, I get extra ashamed when I'm swimming or changing around kids who are too young to have it.

Back when I was in school, nude showering was mandatory. Getting caught not showering nude meant failing.
Failing? Really? That's ridiculous! Gym class is about physical fitness, not personal hygiene!

Me neither. But there is good news that there are ways you can take it off of your self.

Heh, I don't like the hair that's on my head, either! Too bad it's so socially unacceptable for a woman to shave her head, or I would. (This wouldn't stop me usually; it's just that I'm too dependent on various parts of society right now.)

I wish nudity weren't such a big taboo. I'd go without clothes if I could; but that would offend too many people, so I don't--especially since the nudity/sex association would be a bad thing for me as an asexual person. And of course clothes protect against the elements; and wearing clothes you like the feel of keeps a barrier between you and the things you don't like the feel of... They're very practical that way.

I've never had any problem with doctors examining me, for example (and I had to strip down when I entered the mental ward both times, none of that baby "here's a sheet and I'll draw the curtains and wait outside" thing)... I felt my privacy was very much invaded--but I felt it more when they confiscated and searched my backpack and checked my room every fifteen minutes than when I had to take off my clothes. Not like it was pleasant; I'm not an exhibitionist and I wouldn't have done it had I had the choice; but... well, there are worse things than not having clothes on, and being constantly watched is one of them.

I would feel more comfortable being nude (most of the time, except when weather makes it difficult of course!) except for that I'd be stared and mocked, and be approached by authorities, and such.

You're being a bit mean to non-nudists!

Also, I do not like my naked body very much, and don't really want to show it to people. I'm not saying that's rational. Also, I get cold easily, so nudity = not practical!

I'm not saying we should all be nudists, but I think people are too weird about nudity. Nudity is not sex. It doesn't matter if a child sees nudity if it's not in a sexual context. I don't know if this is true, but Americans seem to be worse for this sort of problem than British people.

That's awesome!

But beware... Nudist resorts are not free. They will usually set you back about $30 a day but many will give student discounts.
