There are different forms of feet; there are Egyptian, Roman and Greek forms of feet.

Egyptian feet are those feet that have a longer big toe than index toe.

Greek feet are those feet that have a longer index toe than big toe.

Roman feet are those feet that have an big and an index toe of about the same length.

Of all people/feet, about 44% have an Egyptian form, 36% have a Roman form and 20% the Greek form.

The topic about small hands and feet inspired me to ask:
Is there any correlation between foot form and ASDs?

Mine are Greek, for example.

Wonder what it means to have one roman foot and one Greek foot?

Are Greek feet an evolutionary throwback to a time when our Simian ancestors had longer fingers than thumbs (big toe) ?

The first time I saw a Greek foot, I was shocked.
I thought "Eek, a caveman !"

I'm Egyptian, but only just. My big toe is slightly bigger than my index toe.

@MemberSix: Possibly.

I have Egyptian-form feet, apparently. But I'm not even close to being Egyptian. Not even close.

Well, on my left foot, the second toe is longer and on my right foot, my big toe is longer. shrug

I'm sure some of my toes have been broken, so maybe that's why. I've never consulted a doctor for broken toes, so I can't say for sure.

Greek, to the point of inciting hysteria in my classmates in middle school. I had to stop wearing sandals to get them to quit laughing and pointing.
