Hmmm, if there's something I've learned the hard way that's there's a fine line between self-depricating and putting yourself down. I appreciate you're trying to be honest but sometimes it does you no favours. Not mentioning something isn't lying.
At least you try and put forward some plus points. |

Actually, what she's done is smart, because she's also filtering out the guys she doesn't want. By posting that info, she's turning away most of the guys who are unintelligent, younger (like me), care only about looks, materialistic, and the ones who are only looking for sex. |

that seems to be part of the male mentality that i despise... it's deceiving and can be very manipulative. i don't like it when people hide things. true, there's a time and place for things... but i'd hazard a guess that i'm not the only female that doesn't appreciate heavy use of that approach.

Have you tried maybe the Adult Life Discussion forum? I know this is Love and Dating, but most of the people who post here seem to be under 30 (or at least around 30).

Well, age and distance are too great problems, little interest in sex is not a plus, all the rest sounds brilliant - you wouldn't happen to know any single girls about my age in a more suitable location for me with the other characteristics, would you?
