Yes it is true that God can match two people up in life and if this does not happen (for whatever reason) in death. (well it only makes scense doesn't it?)

Anyway as it stands I'm sure that a few weeks ago at long last I met my soulmate, ON EARTH!! !!

Her name will for reasons that I'm sure you'll all understand will have to reamain under wraps, but I can assure you that we get along very well. If you want to know more then feel free to check out my new post which I've entitled 'Esteban discovers Zia! Or How I met her'

Thank you all for taking part in this as it has meant a lot to me to be able to share my veiws and be of help to any of you who may feel that they will not meet anyone in this life.

Goodbye Till Next Time

It's gratifying to know that at least some people feel my soul has a penis.

But what if we don't want a partner or do not want to have sex? The idea of heaven was never apealing for me because it always seemed like a crowded place. Some versions of Hell are just extreme loniness and that sounded more apealing to me than a crowded Heaven.

In case anyone is still reading, a positive (though possibly speculative) case can be made that male-female relationships similar to marital bonds can continue between the redeemed into the next life. This may then also imply a romantic, physical or even sexual aspect in such a relationship. I make this positive case at my website - click on my name, or alternatively, go to google and search for 'rezfamilies', where you can find a link to my homepage. All interested visitors are welcome.

Even though everyone in heaven would no longer feel pain, alot of women will still have headaches.

If all you're worried about in an afterlife is sex, then you're a sad individual who does not deserve eternity.

I'm Agnostic, but I think there's probably some form of God and post-life Karma. Either way, I wasn't planning on getting married in this life, so I don't hink there'd be anyone for mem in Heaven.

Then you're not agnostic; you're a deist.

I was sort of thinking that Heaven would be the afterlife's equivalent of Oceania from George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four. In that case, any sexual activity must be done in the name of Big Broth-- I mean, God.

If you take a good long look at the OP (and also the other stuff that added on to in this thread) it really makes a lot of good sense as in the Bible God puts all kinds of stuff right for people.

Although it sometimes happens on Earth and other times it happens in Heaven everything get put right in the end.

In fact I've believed in this kind of stuff ever since I was a little girl because my family are (for the most part) Christians, and one time when I was at a wedding as a bridesmaid when I was 13, I can remember getting quite upset as I was told that most people with AS don't marry!

As getting married to a nice man and having kids were always two of my lifelong dreams (I'm quite an old fashioned and girlie girl you see )

Happily I was wrong as I was told about a book by Emanuel Swedenborg that said just the kind of things that 'boosterjones' was saying, I can still remember the night afterwards when I prayed to God that I'd marry some day, even if it was only going to happen in Heaven. Then I was happy and so I did not worry about any more.

Now I'm engaged and we are planning to have kids when we feel that the time is right. However even if this didn't happen before I got old and died it would still happen for me, as God would only want me to be happy.

Also as well as the fact that everyone will love each other, all the women be very, very beautiful and all men would be very handsome, so it would be a pity for it all to go to waste by us staying single won't it?

I think that this guy (as I can see from the posts he seems to be one) was only trying too make others feel better by telling them not to worry.

The Muslims have the best deal of all. 72 dark eyed virgins who remain virgins even after being endlessly penetrated by the dead faithful.

Your logic is flawed. Need I remind you that Hitler got the idea to commit genocide from the Bible. And if you've read genesis you might see why. Thats a pretty racist book! The Bible 'new testiment' itself was created by the roman empire as a way to control the faiths into one faith. While many of the stories were revered at the time, many were left out or altered to suit purpose. There is now proof to suggest Mary Magdelene was actually jesus's lover and not mother. However at the time a new god emerged name Isis which sported women who won't have sex and wear white. Under law all Isis temples were converted to Mary temples. Well I could poke holes in the bible all day as could anyone else. The bottom line. It can be interpreted in almost anyway possible but it doesn't make it true.

What makes you think you are GOING to heaven?

The Bible seems to have two conflicting theories:

(a) You die and go to heaven (or hell).

(b) You die and sleep in your grave until Judgment and Resurrection day. Then you climb out of your grave to be judged.
After that you either go to hell or you get a nice new immortal physical body and live on the remade Earth where the lions will lie down with the lambs.

If the second theory is true then it is going to be pretty darn crowded down here and what are the lions supposed to eat? Grass?
