Very rough sketch for Autism conference logo.
Ink on paper, by way of brushes.

I like the different designs for the different brains, that's really cool. :)

You are very likely an Aspie.

Thanks! In the PR group, we were trying to find a symbol to represent neurodiversity in a fun way. I guess a lot of people are insulted by the symbol that Autism Speaks uses: the puzzle pieces, because they feel it's condescending. KenG found some "multi-patterned brains," it's more positive, symbols from a google search, so I wanted to try that out instead.

It is more positive than puzzle pieces. I like how the brains are together as a storm cloud too. That's so cool.

Hehe, yeah. That was an accident. I wanted to put the title in front of a field of multipatterned brains, and I wanted the field to have an irregular border, something I do a lot with designs that I refer to as a "cloud." Then I thought "brain cloud" which naturally led to "brain storm," and other people on the R group thought that might be a viable name for the conference.

How's that for literal humor?

I added the lightning bolts at the last minute when I was drawing it last night, just for fun.

It's really creative. :)

It's about death. I don't have a name for this collage but I like to call it Vivien Leigh.

Robert Pattinson with Celestina Aladekoba (IMHO they should be paired up in some kind of young adult romance; they would look beautiful together)

A simple, fluffy, romantic picture of the Mad Hatter and Willy Wonka. I experimented with a different coloring style than what I normally do, as well as a more childlike design for the characters. Let me know what you think.

Those are great IdahoRose. :)

I could not find a Morgan Freeman Santa so I made one. I don't have a photoshop program on this computer so I used the paint program instead. It's really crude and childish I suppose but I had fun doing it anyway. :P

Here's something else I did practicing with only the paint program of my computer. I'm still trying to get used to what I can and can't do with it.

^ GIMP is a good (and free) alternative to PhotoShop.

Morgan Freeman would look good as Santa (assuming he was wearing a fat suit), wouldn't he. :D

Taken with an iPhone at uni, these are two characters who are supposed to be an interracial couple but I'm not entirely sure what to do with them yet. Gareth's name is Anglo-Saxon in origin while Kasaqa's is Nubian.
