Try meditation A good way is trying to "visualize" what you want your life to be like.
Also try talking to your mom in a different way. Try talking to her in a way that she will understand you more. |

| So I am in a bit of a pickle. I have very much isolated myself for several months from what used to be my friend circle. There are several reasons for this. One of those is that I have gotten a bit "stuck in life", or that is how others would see it. They are now all studying at college/un... |

| You have a great attitude about it! I have also found that modelling, re-shaping, my life in way that works for me... actually works for the most part! The key is to try to make sensible decisions for yourself. And to seek help when you need it. Guided meditation works quite well for me. Also when y... |

| I completely understand your issue w/spending your time more wisely. That is something that I have struggled with my entire adult life. At school and work I never had an issue since I followed the rules set down by those in authority so that when I started to live on my own and there was no one to ... |

I don't understand what you're trying to say. |

| My parents like to use me as a trophy to show off to their family/friends etc. Because of this, they didn't want to accept that I could have ASD (I'm currently unassessed), because that would mean that I'm not good enough, or something. I was kept down in preschool for lack of social skills, and la... |

| The trick to getting ahead is getting started. All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence, and then success is sure. Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see. Thank you for the advice, I will keep these things in mind. They definitely ring somewhat true to m... |

| Hey there! I just wanted to post something about feelings from the past that I have been processing. I have been fighting my depression and addiction for a while and have been pretty successful at it. This has given me an opportunity to reflect on myself with a much clearer mind, and I have gotten t... |

| Congratz on all the progresses! Personally I haven't found a method to prevent time wasting. I have very low energy, so just making it through the day at work feels like an accomplishment. Weekends fly by in an unremarkable string of empty hours. I'd guess that having a schedule could help with pro... |

A while ago I started a thread on another part of this forum.
I am new to this place so I haven't figured everything out yet.
Some people have responded to a thread that I've made, yet I can't seem to figure out how to respond to them directly. |
