Am I the only one thinking of "The Prisoner"?

So, Portmeirion perhaps? :-)

Well, I think we don't actually choose our special interests.

They choose us :-)

Yep, same here.

And of course, in the tests I'm actually looking at the faces.
Unlike in conversation...

Not sure I follow. Your Social Relatedness score of 47 is just slightly over the average neurotypical male score of 44, and well within the "normal" range. As is your total score. But YMMV. From an online version of the RAADS-R test: The average score for male neurotypicals (13150 people t...

Yep, every day. But by now now it's mostly background noise (um, I'm old). The "impending doom" feeling is one part of it, and specific fears are another. But they're related. The best remedy I know of for fear is pushing through. I've found that if/when I can force myself to go on regardl...

Always clean shaven, because I can't stand to have stubble.
Hair is crew cut, because that dries faster.

So, casual quirky but not scruffy I guess.

Software development, software/web application/network architecture, information security.

Not an actuary, though I do have a background in risk management & decision analysis.

"Hi! I'm new." I've always realized I was different from other people, a "species of one" I figured. Just a quirk of personality, because I'm pretty strange. INTP all the way-- "a Martian". Or perhaps a Vulcan. Never did fit in, anywhere, and afraid to try. People are w...
