I would attribute my never having a girlfriend to a couple things: I have absolutely no desire to enter into a serious relationship with a woman unless I have genuine interest in doing so. I talk to myself pretty much whenever I'm alone. Also, I sometimes shout things that make no sense, and sometimes laugh about them:
