I tried really hard. I remember begging my parents for a cabbage patch kid for Christmas because all the girls in my first grade class had them. When I unwrapped the thing, I thanked my parents happily and then stood there staring at its ugly plastic head, and wondering what on earth I was supposed ...

The classes where I'm actually paying attention. Subject doesn't matter much.

Except gym. Apparently avoiding the ball is something you're only supposed to do in dodgeball. Oh well, those days are over.

I just find it interesting that I was singled out by a Christian group at this particular school, which is pretty much the last place on the planet one expects to be invited to a Bible study You sure they singled you out? The places I've gone to school, campus Christian groups have taken a more sca...

I've been told by a couple of guys I dated that that's what was attractive about me at first - being soft-spoken and wholesome-looking compared with other women. It may not be every guy's cup of tea, but some apparently appreciate these traits. Then it's a toss-up whether they want you to be that wa...

I still haven't given up hope that someday I will grow into a beautiful swan. Perhaps at my age this is unrealistic, but a person can always dream.

I would say that the first ever egg was laid by a fish or some sea dwelling creature. So the egg would have come before T-rex. Heh. I used to say that a lot until I got tired of saying it. I think that some people with AS might do some things which are missunderstood as sexual harrassment, I think ...

Why's it a problem? Blood isn't exactly hard to come by. It's not like acquiring a taste for endangered rainforest frogs.

(And I'm being serious. Really. I may not have aspergers, but I find blood appealing, and really don't see why this is a problem.)

They don't screen guys for HPV, TeaEarlGreyHot, and I don't know how to teach my daughter how to be a psychic who can pick a guy who doesn't have those viruses and will never stray and pick them up somewhere. I also think that having cervical cancer is likely an unpleasant experience that it would b...

Whenever my older sister appears in my dreams, I dream about getting into physical fights with her, sometimes to the point of killing her. Well, better in dreams than real life. You can wake up before you get in trouble for it. I actually like my brother, but one time I had a dream that I'd killed ...

It's ridiculous to vaccinate against something you can only get through sexual activity. I'm not sure why that makes it ridiculous. I try to think about this in abstract terms when it comes to my own child, but sexual activity happens. Even if you were to watch your teenager like a hawk 24/7 and no...

Doesn't everyone do things out of character in their dreams? I have no idea. That's why I asked. :D It just feels odd to wake up and remember dreaming about doing something that just isn't like me. It's much more common for me to have dreams in which strange things are happening, but I am still act...

I wish they had it when I was a kid/teenager.

I'm going to make sure my daughter gets the vaccine before she reaches her teens.

No way nohow, not even on a moonless night in a dark alley...unless I wear a halloween costume that covers me from head to toe and try to pass for a 12 yr old boy.
