She's been online a fair amount since yesterday but I haven't gotten a reply yet. Looks like I got ignored. :( Ah well.

I finally worked up the balls to send her a message. I'm just trying to ready myself for the inevitable rejection, so that I can not let it phase me too much. :P

Much thanks for the advice, y'all. We'll see where it goes from here ...

I don't think that would be a big issue, since we're on the same campus anyway, and we could easily meet. Just it seems logical for me to start talking to her online, and then on the off-chance we actually get along, we could become friends on-campus too. But yeah, good advice ... now to think of so...

Yeah, a friend of mine who's in the same corridor as me at uni actually met her boyfriend on the internet (they both live in the same area anyway). He sent her a completely random question which piqued her interest (in her words, it made a difference from the people who just fawned over her, saying ...

Yeah. If only I could translate to offline. :( 18 and never had a girlfriend FTL. Trying, though, dammit. >_>

So, for a while now, I've been posting on my university's message board on Myspace. And through this I've encountered a girl I think I'd really like - she's cute, single (ok I swear I'm going to get more picky in just a second) and she seems to be into all the things I'm into - namely anime, gaming ...

To separate things into 'AS = good' and 'NT = bad' is, to be frank, completely ret*d. I'm beginning to be sickened by the amount of anti-NT stuff on this forum. Like StinkyPuppy said, it simply stems from a lack of understanding, and, IMO, a lack of willingness, to learn. You need to accept that, in...

I really need some help/advice from people who might've been in my situation. I have a place to start university in September. I've also been approved for accomodation on-site. This is where the problems start. I'll have to borrow roughly £11,000 for 3 years of accomodation. That's probably going to...

I'm hoping that'll be the case when I start university in September. Creative Writing tends to be a female-dominated course. And yeah, I agree with you about the nightclub thing; I forgot to mention that. I think it's one of the worse ways of meeting people. Unfortunately, since I don't do any other...

Not really. I've been out a few times with my brother, once to a nightclub with some of his friends, but I always just feel like I want to be back at home on my computer. I can never muster up the self-esteem to dance, and liquid courage tends not to work because beer always causes me to hiccup like...
